Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: September 1, 2026
This page explains what information this website collects, why it is collected, and how it is handled. It is maintained by Emrys Chase, an independent web design studio.
What I collect
The only information this site collects is what you choose to submit through the contact form: your full name, email address, business name, website (optional), project type, budget range, and the project details you write.
To protect the form from spam and abuse, a submission also carries a render timestamp (so instant bot submissions can be rejected), a best-effort client IP address read from hosting proxy headers, and a short-lived hash fingerprint derived from your email and message to detect duplicate submissions. A hidden “honeypot” field that humans never see is used to filter out bots. This spam-prevention data is held temporarily in memory only, is not stored in a database, and is never used for marketing.
How it is used
Submissions are delivered by email to emyrischase@gmail.com so I can respond to your inquiry and discuss your project. That is the only purpose.
I do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for advertising, and I do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit request.
Cookies, analytics, and tracking
This site does not run analytics software, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or any cross-site behavioral tracking, and it does not set cookies of its own. Standard hosting logs may be generated by the hosting provider for reliability and security purposes.
Because there is no cross-site tracking to opt out of, browser “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals do not change anything here — there is simply no behavioral tracking taking place.
Service providers
This site is hosted on Lovable’s infrastructure, and contact form messages are delivered through Google’s Gmail API via Lovable’s secure connector. Web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which may see your browser’s standard request information (such as IP address) when loading the typefaces. Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy terms.
Retention
Contact form messages live in my email inbox and are kept only as long as needed for our correspondence and project records. Spam-prevention data (IP and timing) is held temporarily in memory and is not retained long term.
Your choices and rights
You can ask me to access, correct, or delete the information you have sent. Email emyrischase@gmail.com and I will handle the request personally.
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws (for example, California’s CCPA/CPRA) may give you additional rights, such as the right to know what personal information is held about you or to request its deletion. As a small independent studio, this business may not meet the legal thresholds that make every one of those requirements mandatory — but you are welcome to submit any privacy request and I will honor it voluntarily to the extent the law allows.
For clarity: this site does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Security
Traffic to this site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are validated and sanitized on the server, and the site sends a Content Security Policy and related protective headers with every response. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable measures to protect what you send.
Children
This site is intended for business inquiries and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
